I DID make the cinnamon buns and they ARE amazing! And easy! Maggie wasn’t so sure about them as I was rolling them out and spreading the butter, sugar and cinnamon. She kept saying, "cinnamon buns are yuck!" But, when they came out of the oven and I poured on the maple glaze? “Mmmm. I wuv cinnamon buns berry berry much.”
Maggie is at that amazing verbal stage where she speaks very clearly, but when she says something that seems “too old” for her, it’s hilarious. Examples:
Me: Maggie, what would you like for breakfast?
Maggie: I’ll have cheese and crackers, I guess, if it’s not too much trouble.
***************
Maggie to her siblings: You guys are driving me nuts and I am sooo not kidding!
***************
Bart: Guess what chapter I’m on?
Maggie: What chapter?
Bart: Sixteen.
Maggie: Sixteen? Are you serious?
*****************
Maggie: Do you want to play Barbies wif me?
Lisa: Maybe after I’m done with Webkinz I’ll play.
Maggie: Don’t you think you spend enough time on that thing? You need a break!
I can’t believe she’s only a month or so away from being three. *Sniff* my little baby's getting so big.

I can't believe a not-quite-three-year-old says those things! That is too cute.
Wow, she isn't even three? That is some vocabulary. Were all your kids that articulate or do you think it is partially because she has two older siblings?
Also, Am desperately in love with PW cinnamon rolls. Send help. In form of cinnamon rolls.
Cinnamon buns ARE nice, aren't they?
My little one is three and it SHOCKS me. I am SHOCKED that she is three!
Too funny. Isn't it hilarious watching them? Miss A's new kick is the word "actually". Just throws it in randomly.
Misty - Her vocabulary is about on par with where Lisa was at this age; Bart was a delayed talker. But WHAT she says is definitely the product of being the youngest of three.
I love listening to my M talk too. He does the same thing as your Maggie. It is fun but sad, to see him growing up. I can't wait to make those Cinnamon buns. I think they might make it into my teacher gift rotation this year!
So, so funny. I can't believe she's almost three!
That Maggie is so cute. "Sixteen? Are you serious?" sounds like such a caring BIG sister thing to say.
Lisa sounds totally adorable and precocious. So cute!
BTW, I nominated you for an award - here are the details:

Too cute!! Anthony who is a little over two, the other day said "Momma, i'm not talking to you I'm talking to daddy", this is after I told him to stop yelling and go downstairs and find daddy. It was cute for a two year old, but had it been the almost 8 or 10 year old, I would have lost my mind!!. I can't believe Maggie is almost 3!!
Bud has been saying "While you are up, can you get me (whatever)?" Too cute.
