… cut off your nylons just above your hemline and just below the top of your tall boots to get rid of the exposed section on your knee, which (of course) has a run?
… wished that you didn’t pursue your current career because your (decent) salary and (high-ish) rung on "the ladder" limits your options to change jobs, work part-time or just quit and stay home with the kids?
… put your kids to bed late and let them run amok because you were trying to break your high score on Wii Fit Plus Ski Jumping?
… seen all those beautiful Haitian children and felt the urgent need to put one in your pocket and bring him home with you?
… bought your kid’s teacher a pink Snuggie to congratulate her on her retirement?
… put all the ingredients in the crock pot, then left it on the counter, unplugged, all day?
Yeah, me neither.

Have you ever driven all the way to work with a children’s CD blaring because you didn’t even realize it was still on after you dropped them off? Have you caught yourself singing along? Nope, me either.
Aw, man. The crockpot one bummed me out. :)
I have done only one of those things (Haitian children, but then I want to take most kids I see home with me, not just Haitian kids). But I'm sure many of the others are somewhere down the line for me!
Oy, I have NEVER forgotten to turn on the crock pot...
My heart drops and my tummy growls when I do that...
Yeah, the thing about being a CPA is that once you roll down that path, there is really only one way to go in terms of responsibility and stress. You are PREEEETY much stuck unless you become an entrepreneur or something.
That crockpot thing SOUNDS like something I would do. I'm sure it's only a matter of time.
Saly, me too!
Do you ever eat half the cake and then blame it on feeding the neighbor kids?
Do you ever seriously consider petitioning the boss for daily mandatory naptime?
I never do that Crockpot thing either.
uh... the crockpot one... yes... once or twice. Also, I put all the ingredients in my bread maker, plugged it in and set it up for baking. Left the house for groceries and errands, thinking I would come home to fresh warm bread, only to find out i forgot to stick the paddle in the machine and the whole thing was a huge floppy mess! grrrr
everything but the snuggie . . .
the crockpot was my husband's fault the last time at least
This? Is excellent.
Crockpot unplugged?? Oh no. NEVER! *cough*
ummm me, ya. You've got me on a few of those. Except for the Snuggie :)
love it! yes, except it was in India at an orphanage. not a crock pot, but an oven and people were coming over. have you ever given your kids pizza and leftover cake for breakfast b/c that's the only food in the fridge? ...not bathed them for several days because you're just too tired and they don't smell yet...forgotten to check backpacks and then your kids don't get to participate in the school pizza lunch and they come home crying.
