The babysitter is feeling much better.
Maggie is still pissed, but she screamed for only a couple of minutes before settling in today.
So, why did I have to drive an extra hour this morning? That would be because Bart spent the night puking, so I had to drive him to my parents' this morning so they could take care of him for the day.
Anyone want to place a wager on who will be sick tomorrow? My money's on me, since I spent the whole night dealing with Bart the Puke. AND, I have 5 meetings tomorrow that will be oh so fun to reschedule.

It is like you can't win!!
Awesome! Maybe tomorrow there will be storms and power outages (only kidding universe. Please refrain from such a thing).
It's a barftacular!
I. AM. SO. SORRY.
Sending you big hugs and some chicken soup...
Look at it this way: You're getting all the problems out of the way now, so by Christmas everything will be smooth sailing.
The Universe *should* work like that!
Good luck.... Heidi
UGH! SO sorry to hear this... Positive energy to the universe perhaps?!?! Also, I agree with the person who said hopefully all of this is happening so the holidays will be smooth sailing!
FIVE meetings? Ugh. When I have two meetings in a day it makes me feel totally unproductive. Five would make me just crawl under my desk and die.
Sickness is the one thing that just seems to throw the whole fluid machine into chaos. Did he get it from the babysitter?
Can't wait to hear about Day 4!
OH NO!!!
The transition period sucks, having sick babysitters sucks even more. And sick children the worst!
And, the more meetings you have booked in one day, the more likely you are to get sick, and it's all relative to how difficult the meetings are to re-arrange.
sorry to hear about your insanity. i can really relate right now. daughter puked in her bed last night and then rolled around in it because she was STILL SLEEPING! then i moved her to our bed so i could watch her and then she puked again in our bed. it was a long, hellish night.
