But, he doesn't even play hockey.

Homer got his hair cut yesterday. He's got such thick hair that it gets quite big and bushy if he doesn't keep it fairly short. Unlike me, he will not go to some random SuperCuts to get his hair done, or *gasp* a barber. No, he has a stylist where he makes an actual appointment and sits in a pretty shop sipping espresso.

When he came to pick me up from work and I commented that his hair looked good.

Then, I caught the side profile and quickly checked the car. No, we were not driving in a Camaro.

As I followed him into the house, I got a good view of the back. Hmm. Was I seeing things?

Or, did Homer actually come home with the makings of a mullet? You know, business in the front, party in the back... hockey hair... the 10/90... Kentucky waterfall...

He explained that the stylist kept it a little long in the back so that when it grew out, it wouldn't be so bushy. Okaaaaay.

So, you decide. Sensible hairstyle, or Achy Breaky Big Mistakey?

It does sort of have that late 90s hockey thang going on but it is not that bad. If he has a mustache that might make it worse...

I think the "Hockey Do" comparison is dead on. Definitely avoid any facial hair, that's my advice.

Well, I'm okay with it AT THE MOMENT, but I think you should watch CLOSELY for Signs of Impending Mullet.

Um, it's not my favorite style. But it could be worse. I agree with Tessie. Keep a close eye on it!

hehehe camaro . .
I prefer hair short in the back but I don't think it's bad - just looks like it will need to be cut again really soon (which doesn't work for me since we tend to forget to schedule haircuts). I'm with tessie too . . .

:) My, he is pretty.

*Ahem*

So. I think it is ok... but it DOES look like a mullet in training. Me thinks he is going back to the stylist pretty soon, before it isn't just a hint of a mullet, but a full blown tragedy.

Um, yeah, if they stylist thinks it is going to be better for him as it grows out, she is mistaken. I agree, fine, for now, watch closely.

This is weird because i was going to write all about lady mullets today, until I threw my tantrum instead.

I think I recognize some of those guys. Do you have a copy of my high school yearbook?

Homer is okay FOR NOW. In a couple of weeks he might not be so okay. He is quite a handsome guy, though, even with an almost-mullet.

I was thinking the same as jmc, How did you get my yearbook?!
I think she was hoping to get some extra business out of him, because he will so need to go back in 3 weeks!

Um... it is a little Mullet-y. Right on the verge. Is the verge of mulletville a good place to be?

Hee--Achy Breaky Big Mistakey. That's just funny.

Ditto other commenters--watch it closely and maybe go along to his next haircut?

I swear I went to high school with the 3rd guy in the first row.

And Homer is handsome, although his hair in back does seem a *bit* long. I'm glad you cut it. It buys him some more time to shop around for a Camaro. :)
